Sorting, folding, packing, driving. Most shifts are two or three hours at Sudie's Place, and someone from the family is always there with you.
Clothing comes in by the bagful. It goes out folded, by size, so a family can find what fits without digging.
Weekday mornings, 2 hours
Check dates, group by category, rotate what is nearest its date to the front of the shelf.
Any day, 2 to 3 hours
Some families cannot get to us. If you have a car and an hour, you can deliver a gift within our community.
On call, about an hour
A church, a team, an office or a classroom. We will give you the current needs list and collect the boxes at the end.
You set the dates
Tell us roughly when you are free. One of the family will call or write within a few days and match you with something that suits.
No minimum commitment, no experience needed, and you are welcome to bring someone with you.
Bring it to Sudie's Place. The current needs list is on the contact page.
Tell us about someone having a hard month and we will reach out quietly.
100% of it goes to individuals and families. Card, PayPal, Venmo or a check.
