Eleven By Louise Inc. (“Eleven By Louise,” “we” or “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Ontario, New York. This policy explains what information we collect through elevenbylouise.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Contact, referral and volunteer forms. Your name, email address or phone number, the topic you choose and your message. If you refer a Person/Family, we also receive the details you share about them.
- Email updates. Your email address, if you sign up for our updates.
- Online donations. Your name, email address, gift amount and whether the gift is one time or monthly. Card, bank and wallet details are entered into a secure form run by our payment processors. They are never stored on our website.
- Checks by mail. Your name and mailing address, so we can send a receipt.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, some information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited, how long visits last and where people click or scroll. This helps us make the site easier to use.
- Accessibility tools. The accessibility widget on our site is provided by UserWay and may process basic technical information, such as your browser type, so it can work.
- Maps. The map on our site is provided by OpenStreetMap. Our “Get directions” links open Google Maps.
- Cookie preferences. Our cookie banner stores the choices you make about cookies.
How we use your information
- To reply to your messages, arrange drop-offs and match volunteers with shifts
- To reach out to families who have been referred to us
- To process donations and send receipts for tax purposes
- To send our short updates a few times a year, if you sign up
- To understand and improve how our website works
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our website and process gifts, and only as needed for them to do that work.
- Donately, Stripe and PayPal, to process donations
- Google and Microsoft, for website analytics
- UserWay, for the accessibility widget
- WP Engine, which hosts our website
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Referrals
When you tell us about a family having a hard month, we use that information only to reach out and offer help. We keep referrals private and share them only with the people at Eleven By Louise who are helping that family.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as we must keep it for tax and accounting records.
Your choices
- You can stop receiving our email updates at any time by contacting us.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us.
- You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, and change your choice later with the cookie settings button on our site.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
